Landhotel Schloss Buttenheim is a small and very individual b&b - hotel located in historical surroundings in Buttenheim, Franconia (Northern
Bavaria). Buttenheim is the birth place of Levi Strauss.
Distance to Bamberg (Historical Town) 14 kms, Forchheim 12 km, Nuremberg 40 km, Little Switzerland ("Fraenkische Schweiz") 10 km. Buttenheim
is directly connected to the A73 highway.
The historical house in which the hotel is located was originally built in 1760. It was turned into a hotel after complete renovation in 1990. The hotel is
situated on the courtyard opposite to the Buttenheim Castle (1780) in a very quiet and beautiful area.
All of our only eight rooms are individually and personally decorated by the landlady and are equipped with modern bathrooms, cable-tv, direct dial phone as well as phone connection for modems.
There are only double rooms except one room with three beds. For rates please check here.
Restaurants (local breweries) with local cuisine are within minutes walking distance.
